Temporary email for Google OTP: what to know
Some users try temporary email for Google-related verification, but large services often restrict disposable domains. Delivery can work in some cases and fail in others depending on sender rules, domain reputation and rate limits.
Important limits
If an account is important, do not rely on a temporary mailbox for recovery. Use TempGo only for low-risk testing and short-lived verification tasks.
Use a temporary inbox carefully for verification codes
A temporary address can receive a one-time verification message during a low-risk test or short sign-up. Create the address before starting the form, paste it carefully and keep the inbox open. Allow a few minutes for delivery. If a code arrives after a newer request, use the most recent message because many services invalidate older codes automatically.
The sending website controls whether an OTP is sent, delayed or rejected. Some services limit repeated resend clicks, apply anti-abuse checks or refuse disposable domains. TempGo displays messages that reach an active address, but it cannot change an external sender's rules. If a code does not arrive, confirm the address, wait briefly and request a new code only once.
Do not use temporary email when the verified account matters in the future. Recovery, billing, security alerts and support may depend on the original inbox. Banking, government portals, medical services, purchases and primary accounts should always use a permanent address that you control long term.
